About Me

From listener to leader...

From director to collaborator...

Read more about my creative journey below.

Hi There!

Despite moving from state to state my whole life, I have always had one place to call my home: The theater.

Growing up, my mom and I would take weekend trips into the city to see a variety of productions, from tours of Broadway classics to smaller local plays. These experiences instantly ignited a light inside of me. It didn’t take long for me to start performing and engaging in the creation of theatre with community organizations.

I fostered this growing passion of mine by attending two different arts academies, ultimately graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts with a concentration in musical theatre performance. While at the Academy, I had the opportunity to explore all the different elements that go into bringing a production to life, namely directing. I assisted both Xanadu (dir. Marissa McCoy) and The Little Mermaid (dir. Jeanna Whitaker and Chalice Lundquist) during my senior year. These experiences taught me the value and importance of collaboration in an artistic setting. To further hone these skills, I decided to continue my theatre education at Ball State University.

After four years in Muncie, Indiana, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in theatrical directing with a variety of different minors. Being a student in Ball State's Department of Theatre and Dance, I had the opportunity to assist several main stage productions like Significant Other (dir. Matthew Reeder) and Into the Woods (dir. DeeDee Batteast and Bill Jenkins), as well as direct two productions: Home Free! and The Last Five Years. In addition to these creative opportunities, my extracurricular experience was a key part of my university career. I became heavily involved with Ball State’s Panhellenic Association as a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, as well as the Ball State Foundation as an executive member on both the Philanthropy Education Council and the Homecoming Steering Committee.

During my time at Ball State, I worked with a variety of theatre companies across the Midwest to expand my knowledge and gain further insight into the industry. From arts administration internships to youth theatre teaching positions, I have worn serval different “hats” in and out of the rehearsal room. But one thing has remained consistent: that same light from all those years ago.

Currently, I am working as the Associate Director of Arts Management for All The World's A Stage and as a freelance director in Columbus, Ohio. I am always open to new opportunities and learning experiences, especially in areas pertaining to directing, producing, philanthropy/development, and event management.
